Freshly Picked + Chubby Bunny, Happy Home SUMMER GIVEAWAY!!!

Ah, it's finally starting to really feel like summer around here.  We've officially been to a pool party, attended a festival and have added rompers (oooh how we love those cute rompers) to our son's clothing rotation.  My husband and I also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday.  You've probably seen my most popular post (personalized photo map) which I made for our 1 year anniversary.  How time flies!  We love summer around here.  My son loves playing outdoors and I love how much summer has to offer.  Hello vacation, swimming, beautiful flowers and gatherings with friends and family.

 {Just yesterday we planted some flowers together!}

You know what? I would like to share some of that summer love with you all today... how about some AWESOME summer goodies?

[Disclosure: I received product from Freshly Picked to review but all opinions are my own. Chubby Bunny, Happy Home items are owned in part by myself and all opinions are my own. Giveaway items are being offered by Freshly Picked and Chubby Bunny, Happy Home]

 {I am *in love* with these two summer prints! Cuteness overload!}

We actually tried our first pair of Freshly Picked moccasins about 7 months ago.  Those ants are about the cutest print I've ever seen and I loved that they could go with almost anything (since they were black and white) so that's what we got.

{He's so little here!  Those little size 2 shoes aren't even close to fitting anymore!}

Why are these little moccs so darn popular?  It's as simple as 1-2-3:
1. They're cute (duh)

2. They stay on babe's feet! Not only do they not slip off but my son had trouble pulling them off his feet too... (which he does during every single car ride)

3. They are great quality. Every pair of soft soled moccs are made from 100% leather with elastic around the ankle.  We were *sort of * able to experience this but since I got a size 2 he outgrew them fast (first kid, I had no clue.  Oh well...) However, I was amazed to see how well they "bounce back" from being roughed up. These moccs stood up to my rough and tumble boy!

{These are the actual shoes we own. They were  scuffed, wrinkled, dirty curled up on the edges and within minutes I had them looking brand new again}

Like I said, they are pretty cute too.  You need to check out their website for all the adorable prints but here are some of my favorites right now...

Because summer means America... of course (haha!) Seriously though, 4th of July is coming up...

They also just released three new prints:

Those pink lemonade ones have a woven texture to them.  You've got to see them close up!

And of course, I love some of the more neutral prints.  Because these shoes run at $60 a pair (hefty price for tiny shoes I know, but they are great quality) I personally would have to buy something I knew he could wear all the time.  Prints like these are so subtle and pretty they could be worn with almost any outfit (psst... they have others like stone, granite, black and even camo online so check them out)

You say you want even more free stuff? Okay...
Since so many of the FP moccasins match the shirts in the Chubby Bunny, Happy Home new summer collection (business owned my myself and my mama!) we wanted to give away a shirt to our lucky winner too.

The collection is designed to embrace all that makes summer fun for our little guys and gals.  Whether they like to dig dirt and go exploring or prefer to go on picnics and eat ice-cream... there is something for everyone.  Available in sizes 2T-4T however if you have a very little one and need the design on an infant onesie, just let us know and most designs can be scaled down for this giveaway.  Designs were uniquely created out of "t-shirt" heat transfer vinyl and attached via heat press for quality attachment and long life.  Toddler tees are Gilden brand and include a rip-away tag.  All shirts and onesies are machine washable.

And seriously, how cute are they in these shirt/moccs combinations?

{Those shoes are even called mint chip.  It's too perfect!}

okay and one more...

Photo Editing HACK that you need to know!

I have stumbled upon something AWESOME that I had to share with you all today.  Lately I have been seeing a lot of images on facebook and instagram where there was text made out of beautiful floral print.  How did they do that?  I had to find out.  I was hoping to find a free app or program and was used for this because well- free is always better when blogging.

{See the rainbow colors behind the words "Brand Rep Search"?  That's a floral photo popping through!  I made this for our business Chubby Bunny, Happy Home to post on our instagram page while we search for some models}

What I found was a tutorial from while she naps (now one of my new favorite blogs!) on how to put ANY image/print behind ANY text in... PICMONKEY!  You may or may not know, but I use PicMonkey for all of my photo editing.  Anything related to photo edits, printables and the like are all done in this free program.  Being a small-time blogger doesn't bring in a "whole lotta" dough so amazing free programs like this are a lifesaver!

{Tried it with a photo of my son too!}

What you need to know:
Her tutorial is so easy to follow but I do want to  remind you to make sure you merge the layers (the white background and the text) before adding your photo.  She says this in her tutorial but I missed it the first time and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.  So really, my advice is to actually read the instructions!

Check out the original tutorial HERE

I'm sort of addicted.  I made a few different "BRAND REP SEARCH" photos because I couldn't pick a favorite.  This one has a nature/woods background peeking through.

Note: This search mentioned in the photos above runs until May 16, 2016.  If you are interested in applying your child as a model, head to our instagram page and click on one of those photos for instructions on how to enter.

Your Turn!
Whether you blog, create fun printables for your etsy shop or just like to create some fun designs for yourself (the first photo that made me love this was a "weeks pregnant" belly bump photo) this  tutorial is sure to make your life that much better. I'm thrilled to have found it- thanks while she naps!
